The purpose of this activity is to introduce students to the jumping discipline, and face them towards its sporting side, in terms of social or CSTD contests.

After completing the course, students should know:

As for the horse; recognize the different types and breeds, their characteristics, and to know more deeply the different breeds suitable for the Jumping discipline, recognizing the strengths and weaknesse of each breed in this discipline.

Overall, and to learn more aspects of riding in general, students should recognize the different types of bridles and saddles used in the different horse modalities, whether it’s a sport modality or not (portuguese, raid, western, jumping, etc ..).
Regarding the management of horses, students will know how to put bandeges or leg protectors, they will also know how to tidy the manes and tails of horses (braid, make buns, etc.)

To evolve with minimal correction in competitions, students should know the basic features of the regulation of jumping FCH (Catalan Equestrian Federation) as well as the equipment needed to participate in them, which has to be acquired at its own account if they want to participate.

Students should be able to distinguish and work with different frame work issues in the Jumping discipline.
Students must successfully develop80 and 90 cm circuits.

This activity will take place during the school year with students doing one or two classes a week, or intensively during the summer months doing the student two, three or four classes a week.

This activities target are those students who have successfully passed the introduction to riding course or who have demonstrated enough level to be on this course.

Students participating in this activity will participate in social competitions or CSTD carried out at the facilities, or they will be offered the opportunity to participate in different CSTD competitions and the necessary logistics to participate in them.

There is a possibility that a student, according to their abilities might be able to do a higher level activity, or else have to repeat the same course if he does not pass to a higher level.
